The zombie-viking hybrid party (as weird as it sounds) was more successful than any of my other parties so far. I guess people like having a choice between themes. I think more zombies showed up than vikings. That's probably because it's way easier to make yourself into a convincing zombie - just tear up your clothes, add a little ketchup to your mouth, stick some peeled grapes on your fingers - than it is to make a convincing viking. Who just has a horned hat and sword lying around? So the zombies outnumbered the vikings and in some cases there were even zombie vikings. Yeah it was just wild. But not as wild as the party I'm going to throw this weekend. It's finally getting up to triple digits and here and that means....POOL PARTY!!! Yes, I love pool parties and this one is going to be awesome. I think the reason that last party turned out so well (besides the fact that people love zombies and vikings) is because of my excellent knowledge of how to search people. You can't have a party if nobody comes or at least a good party anyway and I only want to throw good parties. So I've made a list of things I'm going to need for this upcoming soiree...towels, hot dogs, sodas, beer, innertubes, lawn chairs...That's only a fraction of it. Oh well I'm going to goof off right now and go read Giant Lists, a hilarious website. Check out this list of foolproof first date ice breakers. I think I may have used one or two of those in the past...

Well, the Viking party went off without a single hitch. It was quite frankly a resounding success. Horned helmets abounded, as did drinking horns, battleaxes (both double and single edged), broadswords, pelts, leather, and one particularly clever guy brought a savage looking shovel and trowel (did you know that Vikings weren't just marauding warriors, but also excellent farmers?). Mead was flowing like wine, and there was even a zombie running around somewhere! All in all, it was just a damn good time. Eric the Viking was playing, cause even though it was a terrible movie, it's still better than stupid Pathfinder. Kirk Douglas' The Vikings played too, and that's actually a halfway decent Viking flick. Well, anyway, right now I'm just slogging through my duties as people finder for the next party, which is gonna be a zombie-Viking hybrid cause the last hybrid party did so well. This one will too, just so long as I can search people, enough people to make a great party. in fact, I'm also going to do some construction work in the party house. Add a bigger bar, maybe a hottub. But first I have to background check contractors cause those guys can be pretty damn shady. Don't want to get burned. Okay, I'm off to go take my One a Day and finish up searching.

We've been throwing these zombie parties nearly every weekend. I found Pirate Guy and he turned out to be a freakin whiz kid when it comes to throwing theme parties. We did a Pirate Versus Zombie party (where we staged mock battles and contests), a pirate zombie party (where people dressed like undead buccaneers), and even a zombie/pirate movie night where we stayed up drinking grog (rum w/ water) and watching old zombie and pirate movies. John Romero and Errol Flynn go surprisingly well together. Anyway, we've all got our fill of pirates and zombies, so we're moving on to another marine menace: Vikings! I've always been kinda obsessed with Vikings, so this is a natural progression for me. There aren't that many decent Viking movies, but the weaponry and apparel are to die for. Plus, they drank mead, and mead is delicious and quirky. Okay, before I go off to plan my Viking party, I'm gonna leave you with some people search sites. Try running a background check before you commit to anything or anyone when you're finding people. If you do decide to run a background check, use this link. And if you wanna laugh, read Rant Farm - To My Friend's Blog.

Okay, so the whole pajama party thing kinda fizzled out due to lack of interest and a general level of perversion (that's what I'm told). I'm determined to keep the weekly party thing though, so last weekend I threw a Zombie party! It. Was. AMAZINNNG. We had creepy lights on and Romero films playing on my big screen all night. I served actual brains (not human, though--cow). Everyone dressed up, so it was like a Halloween party, only zombie-themed. So yeah, folks, zombies are back and in a big way. I hope people don't burn out on them like they did on fuzzy thongs. Some weird random dude showed up dressed as a pirate though, which normally would have resulted in an ejection, but his pirate costume was amazing. I think he had an actually rusty cutlass and his eye may have been truly missing. I never got his info, but i have his name. I've been trying to find people that can help me throw these theme parties, and I think Mr. Pirate is a perfect candidate. These links usually help me find a person and they can probably help you in finding people like you too.

Ever heard of "too much of a good thing"? Well, I think that applies to me. So the pajama holiday party was such a success that I decided to throw more of them...EVERY SINGLE WEEKEND. The first few were fantastic. Onesies, teddies, jumpers, I even wore a thong. Come to think of it, that thong was the beginning of the end. I think I just about grossed everyone out. Probably shouldn't have worn it. I even insisted on having one in the middle of the week. Why would I do such a thing? My plans always fail miserably, I'm notorious for that, so when the pajama party thing worked out I got a little obsessive and went overboard. I probably ended up looking like a pervert. Oh well. Back to what I do well: people searching. I have some great links for you, if you want to locate a person or perhaps find someone from your past. Oh and this is hella funny but kinda wrong: euphemisms for the lower class.

Ok, despite all my usual bad ideas, I actually had a good one. I had an idea for a holiday pajama party. We had it last Saturday at my house. Everyone was wasted in PJ's! So much fun! Some of the girls wore some cute little Christmas teddies, and I wore a onesie! It had feet and everything, and of course I wore a santa hat. We drank spiked cider and egg nog and played bored games. I love Cranium. It was a big hit. It's been quiet since the party, and it's been cold so I have been back to trying to find people online. Such an addcition I can't quit. I've been especially into doing an address find for my old college roommate. I want to send him an invitation to my brother's wedding next June. I'd also like his email address so I could send him a link to GiantLists.com-Never Hire People to do For You, which he would love. It's kidn of an inside joke between us. Anyways, I gotta go!

Ok, so my blog-tag idea was a complete and utter failure. I tried to get all my friends who have blogs to do it with me, but it was just a disaster, which is fine. I'm ok with mistakes just as long as you learn from them, and I really think that I have learned. I'm not really sure yet what I've learned, but I feel like I did.....I think. I'm never too sure. But are we ever sure about anything? I think not. Except people search, I am very confident in that. I have been finding people all over this country that I have lost touch with. It's too good to be true....almost. My buddy sent me this link for a site called Giant Lists, which has these random funny lists. Check this one out, it was my favorite. It's a list of fictional character to invite to a dinner party. Sweet.

So I had this amazing idea for Blog Tag. It's a great spin on the beloved children's game. Someone can be IT, and they will tag people unsuspectingly. Then that person is it. We can play jst on blog.com or use other platforms too!! Is this a dumb idea?? Probably is, because I'm kinda notorious for coming up with awful ideas. It's a problem I have. Almost as bad as people searching. I'm kinda infamous amongst my friends for that obnoxious habit as well. I found this blog about how to find a realtive, which has some good links to check out. And I also found this new site called People Search Digest, which has all the latest news in whats up in the world of people search. Check 'em out. Tag you're virtually it!

That's what I said! I've been doing background checks on people ever since I got scammed at the car dealership. I bought this used car and I was stoked about it. And then, like two weeks later, it totally fell apart on me. I later did a background check and did a professional license search on these bums and I found out all the right info too late. I swear, this is the last time that I am listening to my friend Ted. He told me to go to these guys. He said that they were good people, real reputable, but no freaking way. Trust me though, this was a good experience because I really did learn my lesson. I will never make a major purchase like that without people searching. In my crazy investigation I found some cool sites that I bookmarked that helped me. Here they are, check 'em out so you don't get screwed over too!

That’s what I said! I’ve been doing background checks on people ever since I got scammed at the car dealership.

So I think I'm going to try to be more consistent with this blogging thing. The first one was like a test run, a protoype. But, the real reason that I want to start keeping up with this blog is because I want to find more people who are obsessed with finding people online. I l=know they're out there because I am a people searcher, and I searched them. I found tons of other people who blog about the same stuff I'm into. So, I really want to keep this up so that I can stay connected to other people searchers. If you don't believe me, check out these other people's blogs. I'm not crazy, this is serious stuff, and a legitimate hobby!
